Can you go to MAC cosmetics and ask the make up artists to...?

Can you go to MAC and bring in a picture of a celebrity's make up and ask them to do the exact same make up on you? And then tell you which products to buy after? Do you have to pay for them to do make up on you? I want to get my make up to look like this:

I just need help showing me how to get it exact!Can you go to MAC cosmetics and ask the make up artists to...?
no you don't need to pay them to do your make up but you should probably make an appointment. they will definitley tell you what to buy to do it yourself- they want the sale just as much as you want the product! Have fun! I've gotten my make up done by mac before and it always looks great!Can you go to MAC cosmetics and ask the make up artists to...?
You can, you will most likely have to make an appointment. And they also require a $40 minimum purchase for makeovers, but if you buy what they use you'll have no problems spending that. They will show you step by step what to do and what to use. Keep in mind however that you may not come out with something exactly like the picture. It will depend on your complexion, face shape, etc. and how similar it is to the model in the pic. They'll probably be able to get ya close! Have fun!
If you make an appointment with them to do your make up like that and have them teach you how to do it, then you have to buy $40 worth of their products in the end. They will tell you what they use, so that you'd know what to buy.
You have to set up an appointment for them to do your makeup and it's like..i don't know how much it is. Unless you say ';how do i get my makeup to look like this?'; show them a picture ';can you do it on me?';

and they might not charge you.

You only have to book an apointment if it's like..for a special event and you want to make sure they can do your makeup.
In old town pasadena they dont charge you to do your make-up...if u want false eyelashes you have to pay for them. And you aso don't need an appointment...unless it's really busy....Good luck
MAC will do walk in's, but if you're doing it for a special occasion, I definately suggest making an appointment ahead of time, as they do get pretty busy. When making your appointment, make sure and let them know that you will be bringing in a picture of how you want your makeup done, and it is NOT from their website. (They can re-create anything off of their website, but not necessarily a pic you got out of a magazine). They don't ';charge'; for the service but they do require you spend x amount of dollars in product. They will definately show you what they've used so that you can purchase it. I live in the Bay Area, CA and the local MAC counter requires $50 dollars in purchases. (Which I don't mind since I LOVE MAC!!)

Have fun!!
its usually free, because they are trying to get you to buy their products, they will ask you to buy them, but if you just want to know how and what kinda to use, just say no thanks.
My best friend works for M.A.C. as a professional make-up artist in Texas. She told me that they are now doing complimentary make-up now and there is no charge AND you don't have to buy anything. But you will probably want to. However, if you want something specific that's going to take a little while, I would make an appointment.
