A beginner in mac cosmetics? What to get?

I have pale, fair, dry, acne skin.


Bright blue eyes.

I heard lip glass was good, but I hate the glossy look. What is a good product from mac cosmetics? Colors for me?A beginner in mac cosmetics? What to get?
MAC does not have the best foundations, especially not if you have acne-prone skin. It will cover it up, but it may make it worse.

*BLM* has already answered but I'll still provide some suggestions regarding eyeshadows:





- Shroom (definitely get it, you won't regret it!)


- Woodwinked


- either Amber Lights/Goldmine/Juiced/Orange (because you have blue eyes, any colour with an orange tint will bring the blue out)


- either Pink Venus/Sweet Lust/Swish (a light pink will also work for blue eyes)





For crease colours, usually a natural brown (how natural a beige/brown looks depends on your skin tone) that is slightly darker than your skin tone + the eye shadow you're using will work.

Regarding other products, it's best to go to the store and ask an MA for help as they will be able to see the specific conditions of your skin. Also, don't forget to test out the colours before you actually by them. They tend to look different in the pan and on your skin.

Foundation is good if you're into it. If not be sure to get a bronzer esp for the summer time. A neutral lip liner that can go with anything like cork, hover or chestnut. A neutral lip color like Viva Glam IV-that comes in a lip stick or lip gloss. Mascara is always good for anyone and also an eyeliner. Mac's cream eyeliner is good for beginners is what I've been told. Fix plus is great for setting makeup and refreshing your skin. I love it!

None of it. MAC is bad for your skin its very heavy and clogs pores. If you have acne prone skin it will make it worse and if you do not have acne it WILL GIVE YOU ACNE.
try black brown mascara.
