Does cosmetic surgical dimples appear on the face even without smiling?

I am thinking of getting cosmetic surgery to create dimples in my cheeks. However, some people say that ';artificial'; dimples permanently appear on the face. In other words, they look fake because they appear regardless of whether a person smiles or not. On the other hand, others say that they will appear only while the suture is not yet absorbed by the mouth. Im confused.... Which is which? i can understand why you want to have dimples but if the consmetic dimples do look face without even smiling then i would advise not having them done. consult your doctor, thats the best peson to turn to about surgery
