MAC cosmetics same as MAX factor, is this true?

A good friend of mine told me that MAC is just sold at a higher price but the product is similar kind of like Honda's and Acuras same company different product name.MAC cosmetics same as MAX factor, is this true?
NOT True at ALL. M.A.C is high end Estee Lauder. M.A.C. is like the Lexus of make up and Max Factor is like the Ford of makeup.





Look at where it is sold, M.A.C is sold in high end stores, Max Factor, Target, RiteAid, Wal*Mart.

M.A.C started as a makeup for professional makeup artists and in the last couple of years, it has become mainstream and sold in major store. no its untrue, your friend probably wishes it was cos its cheaper. MAC is a far superior product due to the ingrediants and pigment used. try them and compare and you will see.

MAC is a higher quality of makeup but is owned by the same company as MAX factor. MAX factor is more drugstore quality.
Actually the same family that owns Max Factor owns Smashbox cometics. I don't think they own MAC too.


It's not really the same though, the higher priced stuff usually has more pigments, pricier ingredients...and of course you pay more for nicer packaging.

Max factor -test on animals and is owned by a company called P%26amp;G the same company as Iams pet food which do cruel test on animal.
