Are cosmetics still made from animals?

Most are tested on animals. Most lipstick contains ingredients from fish. Most makeup (all kinds) has ground up beetle shell in it. I forget what the ingredient is called, I'll tell you in a sec.

EDIT: The ingredient made from beetles is called carmine. It can also be called conchinealAre cosmetics still made from animals?
Some are, but a lot of brands have switched to non-animal alternatives. Usually organic and all-natural brand cosmetics don't have any animal products in them, nor do they do animal testing. Are cosmetics still made from animals?

A few are, although the big thing right now is using natural dyes and minerals in makeup rather than animal parts.
Um, I think some are. Some aren't. I know most lipglosses have beeswax in them.

Organic Wear is vegan, I think.
