I read there are females in Asia who go for more than 15 operations, and western females who do upper and lower body parts as well. And they become so beautiful as to be almost unrecognizable, esp facial features. Are there serious or negative effects to their health, soul-mates, children, etc?
Thanks for responding! :-))How far would you go to have cosmetic surgery?
I think the risks to their health shouldn't be too severe, especially since medical technology is so advanced these days- there's even non-invasive liposuction nowadays!
But the thing is, in places like South Korea where the number of people who had done plastic surgery is ridiculously high, the people start to scarily look alike. Just check out Korean female stars and after awhile, you will find difficulty distinguishing them apart. The huge eyes- check. the double eyelids- check. The straight nose- check. The high cheekbones- check. The pouty lips- check. Suddenly, Korean actresses start to look like clones of each other.
I have absolutely nothing against plastic surgery. Most people use it for aesthetic purposes, rather than reconstructive ones, and it is a societal norm (though hypocritically, some people still frown upon it behind others' backs). But such ';work'; leads on to wonder: How will their children end up looking like? Their children will end up looking like their original selves, which couldn't have been too good-looking for them to want to have plastic surgery. Then how will the children feel if they realise that they don't look like mummy/daddy at all?
Such implications are not thought of when someone goes for MAJOR plastic surgery to aesthetically enhance one's looks. But still, this trend is young. Wait another 10 years or so, when the children of aesthetically enhanced parents have grown up.How far would you go to have cosmetic surgery?
thats pretty discusting, for me im never ever going to get cosmetic surgery. every wrinkle on someones face tells a story of their life, and i personally think thats REAL beauty.
i think its absouletely ridiculous how the world is today, expecting everyone to look good withought actually seem to care about personalitys anymore.
if someones unhappy with their body then why not go to the gym?
thats what i do!
and you are welcome :)
I wouldn't even CONSIDER cosmetic surgery.
I wouldn't do it. As much as I hate my flaws, at the end of the day, I forget about them.
